St. Chad's Church
Another view of a local church on the outskirts of Winsford. Legend has it that the church was originally situated in the town centre, but that the Devil took exception to this and one night carried it off. Chased by the good burghers, he eventually dropped it in its present location just outside the town. I have also posted another version of this photograph on the site after manip[ulation with Paint Shop Pro.
