Fenced In
Encouraged by the results of the previous "Autumn" image, I tried the same processing on a more unpromising digicam photograph - in this case a simple close-up of part of my garden fence I had taken earlier in the summer to use as a texture in another image. Tweaking the parameters produced this pattern, which almost looks like an octagonal decorative plate and could readily serve as a texture for such in a 3D program such as ZBrush.
