Jewel Cichlid
The image of a male Jewel Cichlid was scanned from a 35mm colour slide taken through one of my fish tanks many years ago. The background was uninspiring and not helped by the quality of the scan which was not done using a dedicated film scanner. So I decided to give it the Paint Shop Pro treatment with a variety of filters, plugins and masks to produce this image. The bubbles were added using the Eye Candy plugin.
