St. Chad's Church #1
A digicam photograph of St Chad's Church, Winsford, Cheshire was used as the basis for this image. The ageing and sepia toning were performed using a variety of filters in Paint Shop Pro (not the built-in Sepia effect filter, which I feel in common with many of the "artistic" filters gives inferior results to what can be achieved using combinations of other texhniques). Artifical photographic grain was added in the form of the Noise effect. A light paper texture was added, and irregular bites were then cut out of the border to give the rough, deckled edge effect.
