Black Hole
A cosmological painting in response to a TrollZBane challenge to somehow portray the concept of invisibility. Finally after much thought I came up with this idea. All previous possibilities I'd considered had really been about transparency, not invisibility, and I wasn't happy with that. Then I thought, what's more genuinely invisible than a black hole where even light cannot escape beyond the event horizon? So here was my cosmological contribution. The image includes a satellite from a downloaded mesh retextured and rendered in Vue d'Esprit, and a starfield backdrop created in Universe.
