Nocturne in Blue
Middle of July, so what more natural than that my thoughts should turn to creating a Halloween image?! For this I used a digicam photograph of one of my local churches as the basis. This was actually a straightforward shot between showers on a rainy winter afternoon. It was subjected to the Hot Wax treatment in Paint Shop Pro then various filter and plugin effects were applied, and the bats added from a Picture tube. Finally a mask was applied to break up the edges of the picture.
