Brewing Storm
An early attempt to portray a brewing storm, in this case in the polar region. I have mixed feelings about this one. I think the idea was good, but the execution patchy. I think I slightly overdid the darkening of the snow in response to the lighting conditions. More especially, though, in retrospect the frozen lake looks unconvincing to me - the colour is wrong and it should have a little more surface structure, especially around the edges. The polar bear was added from a tube in Paint Shop Pro.
