Landscaped Garden
This began as an experiment using a grey-scale geometric image as the basis for a terrain. Then it all got out of hand... and this rather surreal landscaped garden and pond emerged! The whole landscape, rocks, grass and even the bottom of the pond, are all a one-piece terrain - so some time was next spent creating a single suitable material that would satisfactorily render all of these on the one object. I also decided I wanted not only the bottom of the pond to be visible through the shallow water with reflections on the surface, but also two kinds of floating plants to add further interest. All of this was achieved using another complex material - there are no actual floating plant objects as such on the pond. The yucca plant was downloaded from the web; other trees and plants are as shipped with Vue.
