A second repsonse to the TrollZBane challenge on "organic technology" with the following whimsical concept. At the turn of the year, a tiny slice of history. A tribute to those pioneers of the genesis of the revolution when the tide began to turn away from a primitive industrial base through bioengineering and fluid vitaforms leading ultimately to the advanced organoplasmotech that drives our modern society. Appropriate to the subject, this picture is also a fusion of technologies supplied by ZBrush, Fractal ViZion and Paint Shop Pro. Power pack, eye, wheel and leaf forms are ZBrush using alpha skinning (except for the eye). Fluid creature and other abstract forms are from Fractal ViZion. Image composited using Paint Shop Pro.
