Country Lane
Another landscape building on my experiments with the simple and fibre brushes in conjunction with custom alphas. Stone wall created out of a single cube using alphas and deformations. Path painted with the simple brush, then over-painted using various sparse alphas in several shades and at varying sizes to give the perspective feel; then noise added. All foliage and flowers created using a combination of the Simple Brush and the Fibre Brush in conjunction with a wide variety of alphas, mostly home-made. The birds were added in Paint Shop Pro from my own, by now familiar, tube, and the sun effect was also added there using a radial gradient fill. Both could of course have been done in Z, but it was quicker and easier to experiment with the placement of them using PSP, where they were each created on their own layers and moved around until I was happy they were in the right spot.
